In '84, the Dolphins and Marino had a magical season, and still didn't win a championship...that's all it took for them to be considered Super Bowl contenders for 10 years in the media. If this team were to go 15-2 and deep into the playoffs (i.e., at least make the super bowl), the narrative would completely change. It would no longer be "Tua's holding this team back," it'd be "Tyreek carries the Dolphins to new heights!"
It also means home field in the playoffs which is how the MD made it to 5 SB's in the 70's and 80's, and to be fair that's how most teams get there.

That wasn’t qb1s fault. Looked like it hit him right in the hands…

That is a drop the ball goes through the receiver's hands and hits him in the face

I really wish the league came up with a new stat, to attribute those plays to WR's and not QB's. "Interceptions allowed".

Remember home field was different in the 70s and I believe they traveled to get to a SB or 2.

I’m there as well but EZE has the size no other WR has on the roster plus Malik is cheaper than Berrios
If he can’t stay healthy and contribute? His size is meaningless on the bench

Bye bye berrios
I'm not doing that because EZ is just too prone to injury at this point in his career. Hell he hasn't really had any type of a career because he's hurting all the time.
Unless he goes crazy the next 2 weeks and I'm afraid I'd lose him, I'm stashing him on the squad and playing the we will see how it goes game until I'm 100 percent confident he can be available when I need him.

This kid is playing like Ed Reed for Weaver (always around the ball, excellent instincts, good tackler), very happy he's here and will make this defense deadlier.

I hope you’re right, but the comparison to Ed Reed might just be a little premature

Pili, doing it the old fashioned way; He's earning it.
