Larval Tears in Elden Ring are rare and limited in number, but they are among the most important items to find if you wish to try multiple builds in the game. These tears allow you to respec your character and redistribute attribute points.
The base game includes 18 Larval Tears, but if you’ve used all of them up, you can find nine more Larval Tears in Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Here’s where you can get all Larval Tears available in Elden Ring’s DLC.

The Finger-Weaver's Cookbooks [1] and [2] can be found in the Finger Ruins of Rhia and Miyr in the Elden Ring DLC.
Unlike the base game, in Shadow of the Erdtree, Larval Tears are scattered around the game world, and are only visible when you explore the world at nighttime. They are identifiable by the spectral graveyards that appear at night. So, make sure that you set the time to nighttime before heading out to hunt for these rare resources.
Larval Tear – Gravesite Plain
You can find a Larval Tear quite early into the DLC, as it's a short ride away from the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, which is the first Grace you discover in the Realm of Shadow.
Mount Torrent and ride east from the Site of Grace until you reach the cliff's edge, where you will find a group of white spectral graveyard surrounding the Larval Tear. Approach the tombstones and pick up the Larval Tear from the ground.
Larval Tear – Greatbridge, North
Another Larval Tear can be found near the Greatbridge, North Site of Grace. If it is nighttime, you can easily spot the spectral graveyard from the Site of Grace itself.
The Larval Tear is located northeast of Greatbridge, North Site of Grace, and you can reach it with a short sprint.
